The incident occurred on June 13, after 5 p.m. Officers from SPPP in Legnica, while patrolling the streets of Lubin, stopped the driver of an Opel passenger car for a traffic inspection. The man behaved very nervously and was unable to answer questions logically; he was distracted and hyperactive.
The police, suspecting that the driver might be under the influence of drugs, tested him with a drug test. The result confirmed the officers’ suspicions – the 19-year-old got behind the wheel under the influence of intoxicants.
What is more, the police found 18 saleable portions of marijuana in the suspect’s car. The teenager was arrested and taken into police custody.
He could now face up to three years in prison.
