Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn received a report of the theft of a bicycle worth PLN 950. The crime took place near one of the schools in Gromadka Municipality. The moment of the theft was captured by surveillance cameras.
The police identified and arrested the perpetrator. He turned out to be a 17-year-old resident of Gromadka Municipality. The teenager confessed to the crime.
The bicycle was sold in Polkowice County. The police tracked down the receiver who had bought it at a very favorable price. The bicycle was recovered, and a 27-year-old resident of Lubin County will face charges for handling stolen goods.
Both suspects could now face up to five years in prison. The owner rode away from the police station in Kruszyn on the recovered bicycle.
