As readers informed us, there is a problem with parking at Piłsudski Square in Bolesławiec (in front of Forum cinema of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramic Centre). The problem is that—according to those who reported it—almost half of the people parking there do not bother to go to the parking meter and pay for the parking at all. The result? Those who would like to park and pay cannot do so because... there is no space.

According to the readers, this is because Targowisko, a company subordinate to the Municipal Communal Services Company, does not monitor the matter at all.

Reports concerning this had been reaching us for some time. However, only now, when we have access to 24-hour footage from our camera, have we managed to confirm them. Indeed, a large group of people, after parking, immediately head either to the shopping gallery or to the cinema.

In a conversation with the portal istotne.pl Władysław Bakalarz, head of MZGK, admitted that inspections are conducted randomly. He announced that if our report is confirmed, they will be carried out more frequently.

We will return to the subject.
