Recently, a dozen or so burglaries took place in Bolesławiec County; each time, the perpetrators acted in a similar manner. After overcoming security measures and taking advantage of the residents being asleep, they entered living quarters. They stole money and other items.
Bolesławiec officers:
This case was the highest priority for the officers. The police checked every smallest detail, identified people who might have been involved in the criminal activity, and analyzed evidence secured by a forensic technician at the crime scene. They also worked closely with the Zgorzelec County Police Headquarters.
The efforts ultimately produced the desired result—the three men responsible for these acts were detained. They are residents of Zgorzelec County, aged between 29 and 32.
The evidence gathered allowed the police to bring the detainees several burglary charges. Some of the stolen items were recovered.
By court decision, two perpetrators were placed under police supervision, while the third was temporarily detained for three months.
All three had previously come into conflict with the law. One of them is also a multiple repeat offender.
We hope this brings the burglaries in Nowogrodziec gmina to an end and that its residents will now be able to sleep peacefully. We sincerely wish that for them.
