On the previous Monday, Legnica traffic police detained five drivers under the influence of alcohol in less than three hours. The first was caught by officers before 6:00 a.m. in Budziwojów. The officers detected the smell of alcohol from the Citroën driver. The test showed that the 52-year-old had 0.5 per mille of alcohol in his system.
The next four drivers caught driving under the influence were detained in Prochowice, Budziwojów and Legnica, respectively (two people). The record-holder had nearly one per mille.
All of them lost their driving licences. They will now answer for their actions before a court.
