The collision occurred on Tuesday, May 8, before 9:00 a.m., at the intersection of Generała Nila Street (formerly II Armii Wojska Polskiego Street) and Widok Street in Bolesławiec. A woman driving a Toyota—a 21-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec municipality—failed to yield the right of way to the driver of an Opel, a 20-year-old from Bolesławiec municipality. The vehicles collided, causing the Opel to enter the opposite lane and hit a Volkswagen driven by an 82-year-old resident of Bolesławiec.
Fortunately, no one was seriously injured. The 21-year-old was fined PLN 300.
