The incident occurred on Thursday, April 19, in the morning, on Gałczyńskiego Street in Bolesławiec. Police stopped the driver of a BMW for a traffic check—a 37-year-old man from Miasto Ceramiki.
It turned out that the man, whose driving privileges had been revoked, did not have insurance, and the BMW itself had license plates assigned to another vehicle.
What is more, while the police officers were carrying out their official duties, the man failed to engage the handbrake, and the car he was driving hit the police vehicle.
The case will be decided in court.
