Officers from the District Officers’ Unit of the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec were called to intervene at an apartment. An argument had broken out between household members.
At the scene, officers established that a 24-year-old resident of Bolesławiec was the perpetrator of violence against his cohabiting partner. In addition, during the search, police secured several portions of drugs belonging to the suspect.
The 24-year-old was arrested. On the basis of the evidence collected, the man was charged with abusing his family, for which he faces up to 5 years in prison. The district officers initiated the Blue Card procedure.
The District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec imposed police supervision on the 24-year-old, as well as a ban on approaching or contacting the victim.
