The incident occurred on Friday, March 30, after 12:00 p.m., at the intersection of Murarska and Kosiby Streets. Two passenger cars collided: an Alfa Romeo and a Renault. (Both cars had registration plates from Bolesławiec.) Three people sustained minor injuries, and two were taken to hospital.
Firefighters, police officers and two emergency medical teams are at the scene. Easter is approaching, and traffic on the roads is heavier than usual – the services are appealing for caution.

According to the officers’ preliminary findings, a 19-year-old man from Bolesławiec who was driving an Alfa Romeo failed to yield the right of way to the driver of a Renault Mégane, a 39-year-old man from the Warta Bolesławiecka municipality. As a result of the collision, two people sustained more serious injuries: the Alfa’s driver and the Renault’s passenger. Both were taken to hospital.
