Officers from the Criminal Division of the District Police Headquarters in Zgorzelec identified and then arrested four men, aged between 30 and 33, suspected of a series of burglaries at garages, cellars and a single-family house. All the crimes took place in March in Zgorzelec and Zawidów.
The police recovered some of the stolen property, including power tools, a printer, a home cinema system and a snowboard. Steps to recover the remaining items are ongoing.
The police proved the thieves had committed 12 burglaries. The men have already been charged and confessed to the crimes. They now face up to 10 years in prison.
