On March 25 at 10:10 p.m., on Dworcowa Street in Legnica, officers from the Prevention Department of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica stopped the driver of an Audi passenger car for a road check. The man began acting nervously, which aroused the officers’ suspicions. They decided to test the 41-year-old with a drug test. It turned out that the suspect had got behind the wheel under the influence of marijuana and amphetamine. (He was taken to hospital, where blood was drawn from him for further tests.)

What is more, it came to light that the 41-year-old was wanted, as he had a three-month prison sentence to serve.

The man was detained and placed in custody. He now additionally faces up to two years in prison.
