The weekly meeting of soldiers from the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade (10BKPanc) at the Garrison Square traditionally began with a report to the commander. The soldiers then loudly and proudly sang the four stanzas of the National Anthem, accompanied by the raising of the Flag of the Republic of Poland on the flagpole. That day, several soldiers from the armored brigade received a number of commendations from their superiors. The commendations concerned various areas of service, confirming that the soldiers from the Świętoszów unit perform very well both during daily training and combat proficiency competitions.
For special achievements in carrying out official tasks during the preparation of Leopard 2A4 tank specialists, the General Commander of the Branches of the Armed Forces recognized soldiers of the Leopard Training Center with material awards and letters of congratulations. They were:
- captain Marcin Wdowiak
- senior warrant officer Krzysztof Sieradzki
- senior sergeant Sebastian Szpyrka
- senior sergeant Tomasz Becla
- senior sergeant Wojciech Kusiakiewicz
- senior sergeant Adam Duma.
The recognized officer and non-commissioned officers demonstrated a high level of knowledge during the course attended by tank crews. Their many years of experience helped them train specialists as effectively as possible—specialists who will deal with Leopard tanks on a daily basis.
The 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade is the only place in Poland where instructors enthusiastically teach tank crews the craft of armored warfare. They are assisted by the specialist equipment of the Leopard Training Center, including numerous trainers and simulators.
In his daily order, the commander of 10BKPanc, Brigadier General Doctor Dariusz Parylak, recognized senior private Karol Kuzar for taking first place in a history competition. The soldier received a letter of commendation featuring a photograph against the background of the military unit’s banner, as well as a discretionary award.
Three more soldiers who tied for third place—corporal Andrzej Wincza, senior private Paweł Oflus, and private Wojciech Lupa—received letters of congratulations from the commander of the Świętoszów unit.
Combat proficiency competitions are a very popular topic in the armored brigade in March. Soldiers can demonstrate their skills and test themselves in competition. For taking first place in combat proficiency competitions at the level of the 11th Lubuska Armored Cavalry Division, the following soldiers were recognized by the commander of 10BKPanc:
- senior corporal Maciej Kohls
- senior private Paweł Tomaszewski.
Additionally, the SPIKE anti-tank guided missile team commanded by senior corporal Maciej Kohls received a certificate of recognition from the commander of the Black Division. Brigadier General Doctor Dariusz Parylak recognized three soldiers with certificates of recognition for their active participation in preparing the best team. They were:

A great deal is happening at our assembly today. All the commendations granted were fully deserved. I am proud that all the soldiers who stepped forward today demonstrate their professionalism at every turn. Their high level of training is confirmed every day and in various disciplines. The soldiers of 10BKPanc consistently show that the spirit of competition is always with them.

He wished them a well-deserved rest with their loved ones during the upcoming holidays, as well as an opportunity for reflection and to regain strength before the further challenges awaiting the soldiers of the armored brigade in the coming months.
