The incident occurred on Wednesday at around 9:30 a.m. on Łokietka Street in Legnica. Police officers from the Traffic Department of the Municipal Police Headquarters noticed the driver of a Fiat. The man's driving pattern indicated that he was driving either under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The 30-year-old resident of Legnica was stopped for a roadside check. He was very nervous during the identity check. The officers' suspicions proved correct. The 30-year-old had got behind the wheel under the influence of intoxicating substances.
The man now faces up to two years in prison and a driving ban.
