Jelenia Góra police officers stopped a 30-year-old man for a roadside check. As it turned out, the resident of Jelenia Góra was carrying 20 retail portions of marijuana. What is more, it emerged that on 18 March the suspect had bought marijuana in the Czech Republic in order to sell it in Poland. Officers established that from January to March, the 30-year-old had supplied various people with narcotic substances—both for money and free of charge—at least 83 times.

The Jelenia Góra resident was detained and then, at the prosecutor’s request, placed under police supervision. He now faces up to 15 years in prison.
