Police officers from Gryfów and Mirsk (Lwówek County) uncovered three operational arcade gambling machines located in a container set up on one of the streets in Mirsk.
The scene was handed over to the Customs and Tax Service from Zgorzelec, which is conducting further proceedings in the case. The owner of the machines and the land tenant could face up to three years in prison and a fine of as much as PLN 300,000.
Inside the container, the officers found a 25-year-old resident of Lubań County who had 10 portions of marijuana on him. The suspect was detained and taken to police custody. After the procedural actions, he will be placed at the disposal of the court in Lwówek Śląski, which will decide his further fate.
