They are often unnoticed, yet every day, shoulder to shoulder with men, they share the hardships of military service or, working quietly in offices, ensure the unit’s day-to-day functioning.

The acting regiment commander, Lt. Col. Sławomir Kula, thanked all the women for carrying out their daily duties and wished them that every day of service and work would bring a sense of professional fulfillment, provide personal satisfaction, and earn the recognition of colleagues and co-workers. The regiment’s permanent commander, Col. Grzegorz Potrzuski, also joined in these wishes, sending his greetings from faraway Afghanistan.

A symbolic expression of appreciation was the regiment commander’s presentation of boxes of chocolates to each woman present, along with special greetings, after which the celebratory gathering was commemorated with a group photograph.
