Over the past several months, the teenager broke into basements and garages. He stole practically everything: power tools, tires, rims, bicycles, and even dishes. In total, Lubin police recorded 27 such incidents.
Lubin detectives worked on solving the case. It was particularly difficult because the burglar had no prior record. Several months ago, the 17-year-old came into conflict with the law for the first time. When he was arrested, he candidly admitted that he had stolen because he did not want to ask his parents for money.
The losses caused by the teenager’s criminal activity were estimated at more than PLN 70,000. The boy sold the stolen property and spent the money on his own needs.
The resident of Lubin municipality received 27 charges. He could now face up to 10 years behind bars.
