On Saturday, March 3, in the morning, police officers from the Bolesławiec police headquarters received information that a vehicle originating from a crime was traveling on the A18 motorway. The officers immediately went to the location where the wanted vehicle was believed to be.
The car was quickly located. At a fuel station in Bolesławiec County, police officers arrested a 27-year-old resident of Gdynia and secured the vehicle in his possession.
A check in police systems confirmed that the Mercedes-Benz vehicle had been stolen several hours earlier in Dortmund, Germany. The value of the recovered property is more than PLN 270,000.
The 27-year-old suspect has already been charged with burglary. He faces up to 10 years in prison. (The recovered car will be handed over to its rightful owner.)
