Bolesławiec firefighters took part in the operation. Initially, it was not known whether the woman had fainted because of a leak in the gas or chimney installation. Therefore, the gas emergency service was also called to the scene.
Gas company employees suspect that the direct cause of the woman’s fainting was carbon monoxide escaping from a faulty chimney installation. The district police headquarters in Bolesławiec is conducting an investigation into the matter.
