Police in Pieńsk stopped an Opel Astra for a traffic check. It was being driven by a 31-year-old resident of the municipality. During the inspection, the man behaved extremely nervously. The officers began to suspect that he was under the influence of alcohol.
The device showed 0.00 per mille. However, since the driver remained very nervous throughout, the officers tested him with a drug tester. It showed that the 31-year-old was under the influence of methamphetamine. The suspect’s blood was taken for testing.
What is more, the man had a small bag of methamphetamine on him. The resident of Pieńsk Municipality was arrested and now faces up to three years in prison.
