Officers from the Legnica traffic police stopped a BMW on Hutników Street for inspection. The driver immediately stated that he did not have a driving licence. As it turned out, the 28-year-old resident of Legnica had got behind the wheel despite having his driving privileges revoked. The reason? He had exceeded the permitted number of penalty points.
The 28-year-old now faces up to two years in prison.
