The Winter police operation is underway, during which officers check places where homeless people and those in need of help may be staying. On February 9, at around 12:20 a.m., on Grunwaldzka Street in Jelenia Góra, police officers noticed a 44-year-old man sleeping on a bench outside one of the shops.
It was very cold, and the 44-year-old was not wearing warm clothes. The officers offered to take the homeless man to the heating shelter in Jelenia Góra, and he agreed.
