Officers from the Lower Silesian-Saxon “Nysa” group found and seized approximately 1,013 doses of methamphetamine and around 315 doses of marijuana in one of the apartments in Zgorzelec. They also found a professional tent, a suitcase with fertilizers, equipment for growing marijuana, a level, scales and other items that probably came from theft.
As a result of further actions, the officers arrested a 36-year-old resident of Zgorzelec suspected of possessing a significant quantity of drugs. The man had previously been convicted of drug-related offences. (What is more, almost PLN 3,500 was secured against the future penalty.)
At the prosecutor’s request, the court remanded the 36-year-old in temporary custody for three months. The suspect could now face up to 10 years in prison.
