Police officers from the Lubin traffic unit detained a 43-year-old Volkswagen driver who, while drunk, damaged another car in a parking lot. A vigilant resident of Lubin notified the police after noticing that, while parking, the 43-year-old hit another vehicle and then parked his VW elsewhere. (And when he got out of the car, he was staggering.)
The 43-year-old resident of Lubin did not get far. He was detained. At first, he refused to take a breathalyzer test, so a blood sample was taken from him. After two hours, he decided to blow into the aforementioned device. He probably thought the delay would help him. He was mistaken. After approximately two hours, he had more than 2.5 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled breath.
He could now face up to two years in prison.
