Officers from Kowary detained an 18-year-old resident of the town. The teenager is suspected of robbery and burglaries. The first of these crimes took place on January 27, at around 11:15 p.m., on one of the streets in Kowary. The victim was returning home after meeting with friends. He decided to rest for a moment. The aforementioned teenager, who had been watching his victim for several minutes, took advantage of this.
The young thug approached the man, kicked him in the head, and then robbed him. The attacker stole a mobile phone, documents, cash and a payment card, which he used at several retail outlets in the town.
After detaining the 18-year-old aggressor, the officers recovered the stolen phone. The suspect probably threw the victim’s documents into the river.
The 18-year-old was taken into police custody. He could now face a prison sentence of up to 12 years.
