During a patrol of the city, Lubin police officers noticed a woman on one of the streets who began behaving nervously when she saw them. As it turned out, the 31-year-old resident of Polkowice had marijuana, amphetamine and designer drugs on her. What is more, it emerged that the suspect was well known to Polkowice police officers, who had arrested her for drug dealing.
She was not the only person arrested with drugs in the Lubin area. In less than two days, police officers arrested as many as five people suspected of this crime. (Apart from the 31-year-old woman from Polkowice, officers also apprehended a 29-year-old man from Legnica and three residents of Lubin: two 39-year-olds and a 23-year-old.) All five could face up to three years in prison.
