On Facebook, we read that yesterday at around 11:30 p.m., police officers chased the driver of a passenger car. It happened near Tomaszów Bolesławiecki. People in the comments confirm this. They write, among other things, that “there was a police chase, far behind” and “I could have taken my camera and I would have had a cool video.”
And indeed, the incident took place during the night of January 24–25. Officers from the Bolesławiec traffic police wanted to stop the driver of a BMW for inspection. However, despite the clear signals given by the uniformed officers, he did not stop. The police began a chase.
Unfortunately, the fugitive disappeared from the traffic officers’ sight. Actions aimed at apprehending the passenger-car driver are under way. Under the new regulations, he could face up to 5 years in prison.
