The crime took place on December 20 last year on one of the public transport buses in Jelenia Góra. Taking advantage of the victim’s inattention, the 27-year-old man stole a mobile phone worth PLN 600.
When the owner realized that he had been robbed, he notified the police. Based on an analysis of surveillance footage, officers identified a 27-year-old suspected of committing the crime. The man was arrested.
The officers recovered the stolen phone, which was returned to its owner. The thief could face a sentence of up to five years in prison.
