Police officers detained a 22-year-old resident of Lwówek County in Jelenia Góra, suspected of attempting to break into one of the cars. (The man did not achieve his intended goal because he was scared off.)

The detainee was taken into police custody. During police proceedings, it emerged that the suspect had at least two more offenses to his name, committed in Jelenia Góra County. It turned out that at the end of October last year, the 22-year-old stole from an agricultural tractor. (His haul consisted of three batteries, 120 liters of diesel fuel and keys; the total value was approximately PLN 1,500.)

Moreover, at the turn of 2017 and 2018, he ransacked one of the buildings in Jeżów Sudecki Municipality, taking property worth approximately PLN 50,000. (He took, among other things, equipment, furniture, halogen lamps, wood, a water pump and chandeliers.)

Police officers are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the case in detail and determining what happened to the stolen property. The young thief could face up to 10 years in prison.
