The incident occurred on Monday, November 27, at the intersection of Ceramiczna and Mostowa Streets. Preliminary findings by officers indicate that the driver of a Volkswagen Golf, a 33-year-old woman from Bolesławiec, failed to yield the right of way to a 48-year-old woman from Bolesławiec Municipality, who was driving a Matiz.
The vehicles collided, injuring a 12-year-old passenger in the Matiz. The boy was taken to hospital. Fortunately, he suffered only minor injuries.
Both drivers were sober. The woman responsible for the collision was fined PLN 220.
