The incident occurred on Saturday, November 25, on Tysiąclecia Avenue in Bolesławiec, near Chumed. The Bolesławiec resident driving an Opel stopped before the pedestrian crossing to let a pedestrian pass. The driver of a Volvo behind her, a 28-year-old Bolesławiec resident, failed to exercise due caution and collided with the rear of the woman’s vehicle.
The Opel driver was injured and taken to hospital. However, as we managed to establish, fortunately she suffered only minor injuries.
The 28-year-old driver responsible for the collision will be fined.
