A 25-year-old man suspected of a series of burglaries and thefts has been detained. Officers established that the young man from Lubin particularly favoured restaurants and other food-service establishments. He usually stole alcohol, cigarettes and money from inside them. But he also did not turn his nose up at, for example, cash registers.
The detained man faces 12 charges, three of which concern the theft of copper sheets from churches.
The 25-year-old now faces a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
