Officers from the Department for Combating Crimes Against Life and Health of the Legnica Municipal Police Headquarters determined that two men wanted by the justice system were staying in one of the apartments in Legnica.
At the scene, officers arrested a 26-year-old man who has a one-year prison sentence to serve. His colleague, a year older, who was supposed to be remanded in custody by the court, tried to escape. He climbed through a window in the building’s attic onto the adjacent staircase. There, he fell straight into the hands of the officers. (Moreover, in the hideout of both detainees, police found more than 60 portions of marijuana).
The 26- and 27-year-old men were taken to prison. They now face up to an additional three years behind bars.
