Officers from the Criminal Department of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters, together with officers from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław’s Department for Combating Drug-Related Crime, arrested two men suspected of drug-related offences. As a result of operational activities, police determined that a resident of Bolesławiec County, who had been charged several days earlier in connection with drug-related offences, again possessed a large quantity of narcotic substances at his place of residence.

In a room used by the 28-year-old, police found nearly 2,200 doses of marijuana. As part of further efforts aimed at combating drug-related crime, officers searched the living quarters occupied by a 26-year-old resident of Bolesławiec. Here, too, police secured narcotic substances. After weighing the substance and testing it with a tester, it turned out to be more than 200 doses of methamphetamine.

Both men have already been charged in connection with the case. Possession of narcotic substances is punishable by up to 3 years’ imprisonment, while possession of significant quantities carries a sentence of up to 10 years’ imprisonment.
