On Thursday, December 18, police detained two men: a 56-year-old resident of Bolesławiec and a 67-year-old resident of Legnica. In the Bolesławiec resident’s garage, officers found 317 liters of spirits without Polish excise stamps. The seized alcohol was worth approximately PLN 25,000. The spirits had been poured into one-liter bottles. Investigators suspect that the detainees intended to sell it.
Both men were taken into police custody. They had previously been convicted of similar offenses. They now face up to three years in prison.
