The incident occurred on October 12. At 5:15 p.m., a distraught woman from Legnica called the police duty officer. She said that her 35-year-old husband had called her to inform her that he intended to commit suicide. The officers immediately took up the case.
Based on the information gathered, including information about the desperate man’s previous suicide attempt, the officers began carefully checking the area near the railway embankment between Legnica and Kunice.
The officers’ intuition did not let them down. It was there that the aforementioned 35-year-old man was spotted. The man was placed under medical care.
