A resident of our county thanked the officers from Kruszyn in a letter addressed to the chief of police for the swift arrest of the person responsible for the burglary and the recovery of all the stolen items, including a keepsake necklace inherited from her parents. The incident occurred on September 21.

The letter reads:

On September 21 […] my house was broken into; the perpetrator smashed a windowpane and stole food products and a gold chain, a keepsake from my parents. I reported the incident to the Police, and three […] officers from the Kruszyn Police Station came to my house. After speaking with me and making their inquiries, they identified the perpetrator, who was arrested shortly afterward, and all the stolen items were recovered.

The perpetrator turned out to be a woman who lived in the same village as me. I did not believe that I would recover the stolen items, especially the necklace that was so precious to me. However, the police officers from the Kruszyn Police Station arrested the perpetrator and recovered [...] items within literally an hour.

Mr. Chief, the conduct of the police officers under your command from the Kruszyn Police Station allowed me to believe that we have a well-organized Police force that acts quickly and efficiently, and what I believe is most important—one that is friendly toward society and open to its needs.

The conduct of the officers from Kruszyn was characterized by complete professionalism, commitment, empathy, and understanding for another person who had been affected by a crime. I am very pleasantly surprised by the approach of the Kruszyn police toward me.
