The incident occurred in September in Lwówek County. The 32-year-old was helping the victim with various household chores. On September 13, the man took advantage of the owner’s momentary distraction and stole a bank card left in plain sight, along with its PIN, as well as gold jewelry. The victim estimated her losses at PLN 3,500.
The 32-year-old from Lwówek County used someone else’s card as many as 28 times. Police officers from Jelenia Góra arrested the thief and are currently clarifying the circumstances of the case in detail. (It is possible that the suspect has committed more such offenses).
The detained 32-year-old faces up to 10 years in prison.
