The officer on duty at the Lwówek Śląski County Police Headquarters received a telephone report of a domestic dispute that had allegedly occurred in one of the towns near Lwówek Śląski. A patrol was sent to the scene.

It turned out that the 26-year-old man regularly abused alcohol at his place of residence and physically and mentally abused his family. (He had already served time in prison for this, as it happens.) As this was another police intervention at the same location, the officers decided to detain the suspect.

What is more, it came to light that the 26-year-old man had tried to kill his father with a hammer and also set fire to the property. To make matters worse, ammunition for live firearms, smoothbore firearms and a small-calibre rifle was found in the suspect’s possession.

At the prosecutor’s request, the court remanded the 26-year-old in custody for three months. We will return to this topic.
