Police received information that a 54-year-old man might be growing cannabis on a plot of land. Indeed, the suspect was growing weed in a greenhouse. Officers seized 14 plants, from which more than 1,200 retail portions of the finished drug could have been obtained. (The value of the crop was estimated at approximately PLN 24,000.)
The illegal activity continued from August to October. The man claimed that he had been growing marijuana for his own use.
The 54-year-old suspect was taken into police custody. He could now face up to eight years in prison.
