Officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters identified and detained the perpetrator of a burglary at one of the local dental practices. The crime took place in May in Bolesławiec. The perpetrator broke into the practice and stole equipment worth nearly PLN 35,000.
As a result of operational activities, police officers identified the person who had bought one of the stolen devices. Further investigation led to the arrest of a 42-year-old Bolesławiec resident suspected of the burglary. At his home, officers found a substantial portion of the items originating from the crime.
The 42-year-old had previously been convicted of crimes against property. He now faces up to 10 years in prison. The fence could spend as many as five years behind bars.
