On August 4, officers from Police Station I in Jelenia Góra arrested a 30-year-old man suspected of attempting to force an acquaintance to change testimony he had given during preparatory proceedings.

The Jelenia Góra resident took his victim outside the city. He threatened to beat him and take his life, then stole the witness’s wallet containing documents and money, as well as his mobile phone.

The perpetrator was taken into police custody. The court remanded him in custody for two months. The man faces up to five years in prison.
