Police officers from the Social Prevention Team of the Lubin District Police Headquarters conducted preventive activities as part of the “Safety Excites Me” campaign. The officers handed cyclists lights and reflective vests funded by the KGHM Polska Miedź SA Foundation.
Pedestrians, meanwhile, received reflective vests. “The action was met with great acceptance and satisfaction. Thanks to the lighting and reflective elements, the people who received them will be more visible and therefore safer on the road,” said the Lubin officers. They also announced that these activities would resume in the autumn.
