The incident took place on Thursday, July 27, at the intersection of Kosiby and Spokojna streets, near the city stadium. A 21-year-old Fiat driver from Chojnów was leaving Spokojna Street. He failed to yield the right of way to the driver of a Toyota, a 31-year-old resident of Złotoryja. The two passenger cars collided. The Toyota overturned.
The Toyota driver was taken to hospital. Both people involved in the incident were sober.
