The accident occurred during the night from June 30 to July 1 on the A18. Three cars collided. The driver of an Audi rear-ended a Renault. The driver of the latter veered into the left lane and collided with a minibus carrying eight people. Five of them—all men—were injured. One of the injured people was transported by helicopter to Wrocław. Two were taken to the healthcare facility in Bolesławiec. The other two were taken to facilities in Żary and Żagań.
Police are determining the cause of the accident.
