The incident occurred on Sunday, June 25, at around 6:30 p.m., on the 51st kilometre of the A18. The 30-year-old American was driving too fast, failed to exercise due caution and rear-ended a Honda driven by a 24-year-old resident of Podkarpacie.
The Volvo passenger, also a citizen of the United States, was injured. The man was taken to a hospital in Legnica. Fortunately, he did not suffer any more serious injuries.
