A 45-year-old resident of Łódź set fire on 26 May to a vehicle parked in one of the car parks in Jelenia Góra. The owner estimated the value of the car at nearly PLN 12,000.
On 30 May, the suspect was stopped for a roadside check. Police officers found marijuana in the boot of his car. The 45-year-old was taken into police custody.
Officers are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the case in detail. The arsonist faces up to five years in prison.
