Police officers from the Jelenia Góra traffic division received information that the driver of a Peugeot had driven into a ditch and overturned in Janowice Wielkie.
At the scene, it turned out that the car was being driven by a 26-year-old resident of this municipality. A distinct smell of alcohol could be detected on him. (The test showed nearly 3 per mille of alcohol in his system.) What is more, it emerged that the man had a court-imposed driving ban, which was in force until… July 2019.
The 26-year-old now faces up to 3 years in prison.
