The incident occurred on May 18, shortly after midnight, on one of the streets in Bolesławiec. Police officers from the Prevention Division spotted a 22-year-old resident of our county, known to them, who was riding an unroadworthy bicycle. The officers decided to stop him for a check. When he saw the uniformed officers, the cyclist made a sudden maneuver, causing him to hit the police car with his bicycle and damage it. He then abandoned the bicycle and began to flee.
While fleeing, he threw away packets containing nearly 300 portions of marijuana.
The man was arrested. He is a repeat offender who will now answer for his actions before the court.
