On Tuesday, May 16, Chojnów district police officers, while patrolling the village of Jezierzany, stopped an Audi for a roadside inspection. They detected the smell of alcohol coming from the driver. As it turned out, the 66-year-old from Miłkowice was drunk, with nearly one per mille of alcohol in his system. What is more, he was subject to a court-imposed driving ban.
The 66-year-old now faces up to three years in prison.
